INDIGO BLUE

Working from her Indigo Blue studio Kathy is a self-taught artist working primarily in watercolour and acrylics. Taking inspiration from her love of creation Kathy explores colour, texture and form to bring a “moment” to the viewer.

Together with these original works, prints and cards; Kathy also creates earrings using paper.

These “paper jewels” are handmade from layers of high grade water colour paper which is shaped and then painted using watercolour (and or inks).To finish they are repeatedly varnished. The result is a “Jewel” which is light and surprisingly durable.
